Granted, for the newbie it might appear to be a lot of extra work to seek out that individual business person to be your mentor, but all things considered, this time and effort is an upfront investment in the health and wellness of your business! Who knew that buying gifts for my fisherman husband would be such an adventure? Over the years I have had many opportunities to buy whatever was first on his wish list. At the time that I make the decision that I will purchase these items, it is apparent that I severely underestimate how expensive and complex these items might be.
A perfect example is when I bought him a trolling motor. Now you would think that this would be an easy task. One where the options would be simple. It is a simple premise, the trolling motor is. It attaches onto the boat and takes you places on the lake or river of your choice that your boat motor may not be able to. These can be shallow areas, ones with a lot of debris such as trees and rocks, or where there is a lot of water plants. In my mind, it would seem you only needed to know the size of the boat so you could calculate how big a trolling motor you would need.
I obviously made all the wrong assumptions. Not only do you need to configure what size boat you have, but if you need to have a pedal so you can manipulate the direction of the motor without touching it with your hands. Seemingly, this is for those times when you have fish literally jumping into your boat and your hands are busy catching them mid-air. I also had no idea that there was such a thing called thrust. This is something that you are supposed to know about as it doesn’t go by engine size as in boat motors. You also have to know whether you want the trolling motor to tip up out of the way in case you are really in the shallows or really abound by rocks and trees or you may break your trolling motor.
So, in that vein, after 2 hours discussing and evaluating what my husband would need with the trolling motor salesman, I spent over 300 dollars and brought home the middle line trolling motor. I had spent a substantial amount of time with the salesman as I figured a man would know what a man wants in a trolling motor. And apparently I was right as my husband was very happy with my purchase and has used it for the last 14 years.

There is no doubt blogging is here to stay. When blogging first became popular it was incredibly easy to just throw up some posts, get indexed, and make money blogging. In fact, a lot of pros were just creating free blogs that made money left and right. Well, these times are ‘a changing’, so you better change with them if you want to make some great cash with your blogs.
The first thing that has changed is the way the search engines view blogs. When they were relatively new, it excited the engines because they found freshly updated content everywhere they turned. This was great for a while, but the search engines soon caught on. You see, people began to just set up “splogs” all over the place. The fact that it is a blog doesn’t mean it’s quality. There are still people to this day who think that splogging is the way to go, but you’re going to build a real business that will create lasting income.
The second thing about blogging that has changed is the ease with which you can get noticed. In the early years it was easy to become top dog blogger in your niche because there weren’t that many of them out there. These days everyone seems to have a blog. That means it can get pretty darn crowded when you’re trying to make a splash.
That doesn’t mean you should just throw in the towel just because there are so many other blogs! All it means is that you need to step up your game. Think about what it is that makes your blog unique. Consider what you’re going to do to get your visitors to come back and visit time and time again. Standing out from the crowd is a must these days.
The third thing that has changed about blogging are the monetization options. Gone are the days where you can just slap some Adsense up on your blog and expect to make a lot of money. It can be a little bit more difficult to make money (depending on who you ask), but when you find what’s right for your market the returns can actually be a lot higher than they used to be. Blogging for money has become the number one reason online marketers have a blog.
Finally, the role of the blog has changed. It used to be that people would just gather samples of everything they found on the web and comment on them — a “weblog.” These days a blog can be a verifiable portal of great content and information all on its own. There are hundreds of blogging apps and blogging software platforms available.
If you’re just relying on commentary of other sites and products to keep yourself going, it’s time to step your game up. It’s always better to write compelling, thoughtful blog posts that will capture people’s attention. You’re not just reporting on the game other people are playing, you’re inventing the game as you go.

For many, tea is a very serious thing. You’d be suprised if you check that you can find one tea blog after another. Drinkers of the hot liquid tout the benefits of green tea, oolong tea, black tea, and white tea… to name a few. Of course there are many different brands and strengths to be considered.
There are those that not only drink the stuff, but collect all the various kinds, even those they do not personally like to drink. I guess that is no different than those that collect baseball cards, dolls, coins, etc… that collect them for their value or general interest. Along with the collecting of and appreciating tea, there are teacup and saucer collectors. All manner of shapes, sizes, and imbued valuable materials like gold, platinum, and silver can be found. Painstaking effort is often the norm in creating hand-crafted works of art designed to be held daintily at a tea party, or displayed on a shelf.
As you might guess, much rare and interesting information can be found on any given tea blog you might happen to read. Occasionally, great links to deals with good prices can be found at these sites. So for those regular teas you might drink, checking these sites can be a worthwhile use of time. Although there has been debate over high temperature drinks being bad for the digesitve system, you may have trouble ripping the cup out of many a dedicated and even addicted tea drinker’s grip on their flowered teacup.
